About JP Trucking & Excavating LLC
Built From One Truck in 2004
Josh Perry founded JP Trucking & Excavating LLC in 2004, operating a single truck out of his parents’ house. The business quickly grew, purchasing its first piece of excavating equipment shortly afterward and welcoming its first employee in 2007.
Today, our team includes 13 employees and a full-time mechanic. We specialize in trucking and excavation, including building lots, ponds, road reconstruction, culvert replacement, driveway repairs, demolition, and septic and water line repairs.
In 2022, the company purchased Hodgkins and Sons, Inc. The acquisition expanded our office and shop space, along with additional earth material storage and work areas. Hodgkins & Sons LLC now operates as a division of JP Trucking & Excavating LLC.
